The Sydney University Cubs picked up their first win of the season in a tense and hard fought game against the West Sydney Trojans.

Greg Steele-Mills led the Cubs defense in a stand out  performance which led to 7 turnovers on the day. Inspired by the defense Ethan Knight led the Sydney Uni offence in an outstanding second half performance to win the game 28 – 25.

It takes more than one to take down a Cub

The Sydney Uni Cubs now prepare for a visit against the Penrith City Grizzlies on Saturday the 15th of March as they look to improve their record to 2 – 1.
