Looking to play American football in Sydney? Sydney Uni Gridiron welcomes new and experienced players across men’s tackle, U18 tackle, women’s flag, U15 flag and mixed social flag. You do not need to be a University of Sydney student to join.

Founded in 1984, Sydney University American Football Club is one of Australia’s longest-running gridiron clubs. The Sydney Uni Lions have won 22 Gridiron NSW titles—the most of any club—and we have a proud history of developing players for state and national selection.

Whether you have played before or are completely new to American football, our coaches will help you learn the game and find the right team.
