The constantly improving 2012 Cubs squad took another step forward, beating rivals UTS 22-14.

In a tight game, it was the Cubs’ defensive unit that took charge in the game, swarming to the ball and keeping the high powered UTS attack at bay. Although a solid win, Head Coach Kiernan Dorney said he was proud of the players, but there is still a long way to go.

In their next matchup, the Cubs take on the Sutherland Seahawks, who are a traditional powerhouse in junior level gridiron. It will be an entertaining match, and we encourage everyone who can to get down there are watch.
