After such a successful season, the 2012 Lions award winners were always going to be tough to separate players. Coaches Andrew Ogborne and Mac Shine had the tough task of determining who won the awards, which were handed out at our 2012 Presentation Day held at the Alexandria Hotel.
The award winners were as follows:

Defensive Most Valuable Player: Joe Lim
Offensive Most Valuable Player: Alex Watson
Special Teams Most Valuable Player: John Tamanivalu
Lineman of the year: David Thode
Most Improved: Kevin Trinh
Freshman of the Year: James Talbot
Coaches Award: Andrew Matthews
Clubman of the Year (David Allen Award): Paul Edwards
Pride of the Lions: Nicolai Hansen, Jaydn Pilling, Harry Granger, Keenan Mackett, Mitch Haney, Sam Darcy and Cameron Lawrence
