Lions Team Rankings

Statistical Source Material

The Lions Team Rankings statistics have been determined from the following sources:

Scorers have been recorded for all games played from 1984 to 1996 and all games played from 2000 to 2009. Scorers in games played from 1997 to 1999 have been determined except for 16 points scored in 1997, 96 points scored in 1998 and 41 points scored in 1999.
Full offensive statistics were taken for eight (8) of eleven (11) games played in 1985, all games played from 1986 to 1997 (excluding play-off games), one (1) game played in 1998, three (3) games played in 1999 and all games played from 2003 to 2009 (including play-off games).
Defensive statistics were taken for the same games as for offensive statistics, except that Tackles for Loss were not recorded for games played in 1987-8 and 2005 and Sacks were not recorded for games played in 1997 and 1999.

For some records where full statistics are missing for some years (eg. Tackles), a career average ("Career (ave)") has been calculated in addition to the career total by determining the seasonal average of each player for those seasons where full statistics were taken and multiplying that seasonal average by the total number of seasons played by the player.
