Records

The Lions have kept scoring records since their first game in 1984 and full game statistics since 1985.  From the available source material the club has complied its Player Records, All-Time Leaders, Year-by-Year Leaders and Team Rankings.  The Player Records list the game, season and career records held by Lions players in the various statistical categories (eg. rushing, passing etc.).  The All-Time Leaders are the top ten ranked Lions players in each of these categories.  The Year-by-Year Leaders are the players who led the Lions for each season in the major offensive and defensive categories.  The Team Rankings list the performances of the top ten ranked Lions teams in each category.

Statistical Source Material

• Scorers have been recorded for all games played from 1984 to 1996 and all games played from 2000 to 2009. Scorers in games played from 1997 to 1999 have been determined except for 16 points scored in 1997, 127 points scored in 1998 and 41 points scored in 1999.
• Full offensive statistics were taken for eight (8) of eleven (11) games played in 1985, all games played from 1986 to 1997 (excluding play-off games), one (1) game played in 1998, three (3) games played in 1999 and all games played from 2003 to 2009 (including play-off games).
• Defensive statistics were taken for the same games as for offensive statistics, except that no defensive statistics were taken in 2003, Tackles for Loss were not recorded for games played in 1987-8 and 2005 and Sacks were not recorded for games played in 1997 and 1999.
